The Geared Owl is unique. The internally geared 3-speed rear hub enables your son or daughter to climb steep hills and move faster on long flats. Plus, the Owl’s shifting mechanism is encased in an aluminum shell inside the rear hub. The bike will shift gears smoothly with no maintenance for thousands of miles - regardless of how many times it gets dropped or crashed.
